The assessment sessions
Our Comprehensive Autism Assessment Process
Our autism assessment combines detailed developmental history gathering with direct observation using gold-standard diagnostic tools
Developmental History
We conduct a thorough exploration of developmental history using the ADIR (Autism Diagnostic Interview - Revised), a structured interview recognized internationally for autism assessment.
Direct Observation
ADOS Modules 1 & 2: Play-based assessments conducted in your home by an experienced clinician over 40-60 minutes, designed for younger children or those with limited language.
ADOS Modules 3 & 4: Structured interactions for children and adults with fluent language, conducted either face-to-face or remotely.
Additional Assessment Elements
Recognition of masking and compensation strategies using specialized tools like the CAT-Q when appropriate
Collection of information from educational settings
Self-report measures and informant questionnaires
Standardized screening tools
Diagnostic Framework
All information is analysed within a Multi-Disciplinary meeting, using the DSM-5 diagnostic framework, the internationally recognized standard for autism diagnosis.
After Assessment
You are given a comprehensive diagnostic report with personalized recommendations
A feedback session with your lead clinician is arranged online, to discuss findings and next steps
